COvid – 19
Greetings from Beach Heights Dentistry!
It’s already been about 1 month since our re-opening, and our team is all back. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful patients for coming back. The response has been overwhelmingly positive on the changes that we have made to keep you and our team safe. We have even added additional hygiene days to accommodate the back log of patients wishing to get back into their maintenance program. Our focus has always been on prevention. To this end I am excited to offer a new feature to our patients. As a prosthodontist, I have been very cognizant of the importance of loss of tooth structure to the long term health of the dentition, whether through mechanical wear or chemical erosion. We now have a way to quantify the changes in the surface topography of your teeth using our digital scanner and sophisticated software that can actually visually show the changes as well as measure tooth enamel loss to fractions of a millimeter.
For those of you who have not had a chance to come back, please continue to practice good home care such as using an electric toothbrush, regular flossing or using a waterflosser, wearing a nightguard, and even applying some toothpaste inside your nightguard.
We are committed to your health and safety! Please have a wonderful and safe Fourth of July.
IN GRATITUDE,
Dr. Yen and the team at Beach Heights Dentistry
